Overview

The Process unit contains the code for the TProcess component, a cross-platform component to start and control other programs, offering also access to standard input and output for these programs.

TProcess does not handle wildcard expansion, does not support complex pipelines as in Unix. If this behaviour is desired, the shell can be executed with the pipeline as the command it should execute.
